Website privacy notice

GroupCore Ltd (company number 17002943), trading as Web Builder Man, is responsible for the enquiry and order information described in this notice. Its registered office is 107 High Street, Thurnscoe, Rotherham, S63 0QZ.

Enquiry information

When you use the enquiry form, we collect your name, email address, business name and phone number if supplied, the website size selected, your message, the date received and your agreement to a response.

Order and payment information

When you start a direct package order, we record the business name, nominated contact name and email address, chosen package, agreed scope and price, order reference, the confirmations you made and technical timestamps needed to protect and match the order. After payment, we may also receive the contact email supplied to Square, payment and order identifiers, the amount, currency and payment status needed to confirm and administer the order.

Card details are entered in Square's secure card form. For monthly plans, you authorise Square to store the card and collect the agreed recurring payments; we keep the chosen term, recurring schedule, consent record and Square customer, card and subscription references. Web Builder Man and its website do not receive or store your full card number or card security code. Square handles payment information under its own privacy notice and terms.

Why we use the information

We use enquiry information to respond, prepare a possible scope or quote and keep an appropriate record of the conversation. We use order information to take steps requested by you, process and fulfil the contract, provide support, prevent misuse, reconcile payments and meet legal, tax and accounting responsibilities.

Where it goes

Enquiries and order records are kept in private server-side storage outside the public website. GroupCore's private payment service coordinates the order with Square, which supplies the secure card fields and processes payments and subscriptions. Notifications may be sent to authorised people who administer Web Builder Man. We do not sell this information or use it for third-party behavioural advertising.

Security and essential browser storage

The website uses a short-lived server session and security token to protect forms and checkout requests. These are used for essential security and are not advertising trackers. Card fields are hosted and secured by Square; the surrounding checkout is served by this website.

How long it is kept

Enquiry information is kept only as long as reasonably needed to handle the enquiry and any resulting work. Order and payment records may be kept longer where needed to perform the contract, answer queries, prevent fraud or meet legal, tax and accounting duties. When information is no longer needed, it is deleted or made anonymous where practical.

Your choices

You may ask for access to personal information held about you, request a correction, object to or ask us to restrict some uses, or ask for information that is no longer needed to be deleted. These rights depend on the circumstances and applicable law. Use the main enquiry form or email info@groupcore.co.uk and state that your message concerns privacy. You may also raise a concern with the UK Information Commissioner's Office.
